I've spent the past 25 years in the nonprofit sector, leading teams through growth and expansion. Before Breakthrough for Good, I served as Chief Development Officer for a $10M nonprofit, overseeing both Marketing and Fundraising.
When I joined that team, the organization was primed for a season of growth. But there was no fundraising infrastructure. No strategy. Not even a CRM. Just a great mission and a whole lot of heart.
We built the department from the ground up, creating a flywheel that doubled revenue and helped the organization scale — with new facilities and expanded programming to match.
It was amazing. And so much fun!
I understand firsthand the challenge of juggling daily operations while trying to secure the money you need to sustain and grow your mission. I've seen how great missions can stall when strategy is unclear, fundraising is transactional, or leaders carry too much alone. But I've also seen these same missions flourish when obstacles are identified and moved out of the way.

Every organization is unique, and your fundraising strategy should be, too! As a fundraising generalist, I can help with strategy, individual giving, campaigns, major gifts, and grant writing. The only thing I don’t do is events. But I can absolutely help develop event follow-up strategy.
Together with you, I will start with a Strategic Planning process to map out clear goals and action steps. Then, I will roll up my sleeves and get to work!
